Terms for Valuation, Authentication and Submission of Items
These terms apply to the initial process relating to the valuation, authentication and potential sale of an item. A separate sales agreement will only be entered into after Affordable Luxury has completed the final inspection and approved the item for sale.
By submitting an item for valuation and potential sale, whether delivered in person or shipped to Affordable Luxury, the customer confirms that the item is authentic, that all information provided regarding the item is accurate, and that the customer has the right to submit the item for sale.
Affordable Luxury only accepts authentic products that can be verified as genuine original products during our final authentication process.
If an item submitted for sale is found during the final authentication check to be inauthentic, counterfeit, or inconsistent with the information provided, the item will not be approved for sale and no sales agreement will be entered into.
In such cases, the customer will be charged an authentication and administration fee of SEK 1,195 per item.
The customer is also responsible for costs incurred in connection with transportation and handling of the item, including:
- the original insured shipping cost to Affordable Luxury (where applicable),
- return shipping,
- and any other costs related to handling and returning the item.
Any rejected item must be collected by the customer without undue delay and no later than 72 hours after notification has been provided. The item may be collected from Affordable Luxury or returned subject to payment of applicable additional costs.
If the customer fails to collect the item or provide return instructions within the stated period, additional storage and handling costs may be charged.
Affordable Luxury reserves the right to refuse the sale of any item that does not meet our authenticity requirements.
