Celine
Celine was founded by Céline Vipiana and her husband Richard in Paris in 1945 when they opened a custom shoe shop for children, but its modern incarnation dates to the 1960s, when the Vipianas began selling ready-to-wear. Later in 1966, Vipiana added leather accessories including bags, belts, and gloves. In her mission to deliver pieces of the highest caliber, she sought out a leather goods factory in Florence. By the ‘70s, Celine had gone international, with new boutiques opening across the globe, from Monte Carlo to Beverly Hills to Hong Kong. The Celine brand is renowned for its understanding of what women really want to wear and today many fashion lovers invest in Celine bags such as the Celine Luggage Bag, The Classic Box Bag, the Belt Bag, and many more.
